How was the weather that summer?
terrible, chilly and rainy morning.
Why did my mother not send me out on that holiday?
because I would get sick.
.So What did I do?
put on my jacket and went to the front porch(verandah)
- What did I find there? the blond Labrador.
- Who is this I and do you know my name? Shelly.
- How do you know this? When Diane shook hands with you and thanked you for taking care of Sam.
- What did the Labrador do? He whined and put his head down on his good paw.
- Why did I think that he was not belonging to any one?
- because there was no collar or belt on his neck.
- Why did I think that it was mean to call the dog catcher?
- because the Labrador was hurt.
- Why my mummy could not come to help me?
- because she had gone to the store.
- What did I do then?I went to my room to bring the first aid kit.
- Was it a real First Aid kit? No, It is a toy with which I played doctor and patient.
- What was there in that kit? iodine, bandages etc.,
- Why did I call him Goldy? because he looked golden in colour.
- What were the questions which came to my mind?
- 1. How did he get hurt?

- She said we could not keep the dog. He might be belonging to someone.We had to find the master. we could not keep him.

- What did Goldy do? He started barking and ran up to the old lady.

- What did Goldy do then? whined with love, licking all over the lady's face.
- Who said Goldy was not really Goldy .He was SAM. I,the poor boy. the present Goldy's master.
- Why did the lady cry? because she found her pet dog SAM.
- Why did I cry? because I loved Goldy and he was my play mate and I would miss him too much.
- How was SAM and his master the lady got separated?
- In a traffic accident and when she went to the hospital.
- What did SAM lose after the accident? his collar and harness( the set of straps put around the body to control him.)
- Who needed whom most? SAM needed that lady and the lady needed him most.
- What did I wish too much? SAM to be really happy.
- What did I do with the master/ mistress of SAM?

- What did Diane tell me? That I could visit him anytime I like.
- Then what happened? I put a big smile on my face. I said to her Thank you,madam.
